An 88-year-old woman is in a critical condition after car crashed into her mobility scooter.
Police were called to to reports of a collision at the junction of Bullsmoor Lane and Hertford Road in Enfield, at 2.35pm on Wednesday.
Officers found a woman with multiple injuries, who was taken to hospital by ambulance with potentially life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the woman was crossing the road on her mobility scooter when she was hit by a black Mercedes car. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
Police say no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
