A Walton school has won at the annual education business awards.
Ashley Church of England Primary School won the educational visits award at the ceremony at the Emirates stadium on December 5.
The school was one of four shortlisted for the award and took home the trophy thanks to the expedition year 6 children complete to Chamonix in France.
The trip takes place over five days and children designed ways to ensure the wellbeing of Chamonix through energy, food, water, waste and transport.
Dan Cadman, year 6 teacher, and Richard Dunne, headteacher, attended the ceremony and received the award from former Olympic 400m runner Roger Black.
