A knife was brandished in a road rage incident near Walton.
The confrontation between two male drivers happened near Walton Bridge between 5pm and 5.15pm on Wednesday, December 11.
Police said that after driving across Walton Bridge in the direction of Shepperton the two male drivers stopped and a physical confrontation took place.
It is alleged that one man hit the other man's wing mirror and he was threatened with a knife in retaliation.
Police said one man was driving a silver Ford Focus estate and the other vehicle involved was a black Range Rover.
Detective Constable Mike Cresswell said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information which could assist the investigation.”
