A community hub offering support to disabled people has officially opened in Walton.
A special opening event was held at The Hub Walton, a user-led information and support centre for older people, those with disability and carers in the borough, on Friday, December 6.
Walton is the sixth hub to open and is part of the Surrey Hubs project-funded by Surrey County Council.
The opening, held at the centre on the High Street, was attended by the mayor of Elmbridge Councillor Mike Bennison and representatives from Elmbridge Council and Surrey County Council, along with a number of other community group representatives The Hub Walton is open four days a week from 10am to 3pm.
