A PEDESTRIAN in his 80s is in hospital with head injuries after a collision in Beckenham, less than four hours after an elderly man died after being hit by a car in Chislehurst.
Emergency services were called to Wickham Road, near the junction with Manor Road, at around 2.05pm and treated the octogenarian for head injuries.
He was conscious and taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill.
This is the second incident today (December 14) where an elderly man has been hit by a car in the Bromley borough.
At around 10am in White Horse Hill a man, believed to be in his 70s or 80s, was in collision with a car and was airlifted to hospital where he died a short time later.
