SHOPPERS in search of Christmas gifts found some extra treats in Bromley last weekend when the streets were sprinkled with festive magic.

East Street in Bromley played host to a celebratory event held to mark the completion of the first phase of the Bromley North Village redevelopment works.

Shopkeepers enticed people inside their stores with Christmas nibbles and special offers.

In Orpington the Drayhorse Shires Christmas carriage rides were a big attraction for people enjoying the White Christmas fun day.

There the main man was Father Christmas who stopped off at the fair in the village hall to say hi to all the boys and girls while helping raising money for Orpington Village Hall Trust and the children’s charity The Maypole Project.

Beckenham shoppers did not miss out as the Beckenham Green was taken over by a Christmas fair where unique gifts were on sale.
