Stunning black and white landscape photography by Sophie Martin-Castex and Brian Sharland will be on display in Teddington as part of their nationwide tour.

The Double Vision Tour is next year’s Landmark Show at the Landmark Arts Centre, with a range of different and contrasting natural imagery to view.

While Sharland climbs British mountains for vistas of cloud and stones, Martin-Castex travels the world to capture big skies and coastal scenes of crashing seas.

However, both artists aim to bring a spirituality and serenity to those who view their works.

Inspired by classic photographers such as Bill Brandt, Michael Kenna, Ansel Adams and Fay Godwin, they are passionately connected to their strong and moody black and white images.

Sharland also brings his years of conventional silver halide darkroom experience to the printing of the images, retaining a warm tone with a look of old prints.

Many of the images on display can be purchased as prints, either framed or unframed.
