Images of 30-man Essence nightclub brawl released by Kingston police
Images of drunken revellers brandishing scaffolding poles during the mass brawl outside Essence nightclub in Kingston have been released by police.
Police are asking members of the public for help in identifying some of those involved in the shocking violence early on Saturday morning, which resulted in five people being arrested and two people in hospital with serious head injuries.
The images were captured on a camera worn by an Essence security guard, and handed over to officers by the club following the conflict.
They show a group of men brandishing scaffolding poles taken from the nearby Kingston Riverside development.

Kingston police borough commander Glenn Tunstall said: “I am pleased that Kingston's licensing sub committee recognised the gravity of the disorder that my officers faced at Essence nightclub on the night in question and decided to revoke their license pending a future hearing.
"The situation faced by my officers on the early hours of Saturday morning was totally unacceptable and both the residents of Kingston and those who visit our night-time economy have a right to expect better.
"It is my intention to ensure that Kingston remains London's safest borough and as part of that we will robustly utilise all the powers available to us, to ensure that we build on our current outstanding crime reduction performance.
"I am pleased to say that on the whole the partnerships we have built in the night time community are paying dividends, but as always we will strive to do better and will hold those to account, who do not comply with the law.”
Anyone who recognises the people in the photos, or has any other information, should call Kingston Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
