Patients at Sam Beare Hospice enjoyed a performance of Christmas carols from a school choir.
Members of the senior and chamber choirs of St George’s Junior School visited the Weybridge hospice on December 5 to boost spirits in the run up to Christmas.
A number of popular Christmas songs and carols were performed to the audience, including Away in a Manager, Jingle Bells and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer.
Patients also joined in the singing.
Pupil Chloe Stevenson said: “The delight on their faces also lifted our spirits and we came away feeling we had made a difference to their festive celebrations.”
Sue Hooley, director of music at St George’s Junior School, said the day was a wonderful opportunity for the children to show off their voices to an audience.
