A primary school has been recognised for its efforts in making its pupils’ journeys to and from school safer and greener.
Foulds Primary School, in Byng Road, High Barnet, won Transport for London’s School of the Region award for promoting environmentally friendly travel.
The award is given to schools that have “demonstrated exceptional accomplishments through their School Travel Plan in promoting sustainable journeys to school through walking, cycling or using public transport”.
Helen Browett, in charge of the travel plan at Foulds, said the school was “incredibly proud”.
