A female cashier was grabbed by two men and forced to open the safe of a betting shop in Muswell Hill.

The pair stole a large quantity of cash from the Ladbrokes branch in Colney Hatch Lane as the woman was about to close the shop at around 10pm on Sunday.

Although unarmed, the two men pushed the woman up to the safe as she was cashing up.

The first man was described as white, of medium build and dressed in black, with his face covered.

The second man was also white and dressed in black, but was described as slimmer as and slightly taller than the first man.
