A church which hosts a lunch party for people who are alone on Christmas day has appealed for volunteers.
Union Church, in Weston Park road, Crouch End, has invited members of the community to celebrate together on December 25.
Organiser Kate Salinger said: “We do our best to invite people who might otherwise be on their own and help them have a good day out.
“On the day when Christians all over the world are celebrating the birth of Christ and his message of hope and peace, we think it is important to share some of that with our neighbours.”
