Neighbours who live on a “rat run” in Wood Green have organised a demonstration to get the road closed.

Families who live in Ringslade Road will protest outside their homes as part of a campaign to make the street safer.

They have called on Haringey Borough Council to close the residential road, which according to a traffic survey has more than 2,600 cars and lorries travelling through it every day.

The demonstration starts at 11am and neighbours have called on members of the public to show their support.
