Visitors to the Wetland Centre this Christmas can take part in a range of new festive activities.

Children will be thrilled to hop aboard for a husky sleigh ride, visit Santa in his magical grotto and enjoy a unique Wetlands Winter Show to discover more about the science behind the coldest season.

There is also the chance to meet the polar explorer at his base camp to hear tales of his icy adventures and make explorer’s equipment from recycled materials.

Creative types can take part in Cranberry Fest and make their own cranberry Christmas decorations, follow the cranberry trail and enjoy treats in the centre’s restaurants.
