A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car overturned in Chislehurst High Street this afternoon.
The incident happened at around 4pm.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called just after 4pm to Chislehurst High Street to reports of a car that overturned.
"One ambulance crew attended the scene.
"One patient was treated and taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital. He was an elderly man."
On Twitter, Craig Pilkington said: "Omg terrible car accident at chislehurst hight st."
Jennie James added: "Avoid Chislehurst by the library's RTA & all emergency services on site. Traffic being diverted."
