A rapist who attacked a woman after she was separated from her boyfriend on a night out is due to be sentenced today.

Michael Wilson, 31, of Grange Road in Plaistow, was found by police half naked in a car with the victim in Leytonstone.

Earlier the victim, in her 20s, and her boyfriend had been at a Shoreditch nightclub when they became separated.

Police had pulled over the car after it was spotted driving erratically.

Ahmed Quras, of Shrewsbury Road in East Ham, was also found in the car but was found not guilty of aiding and abetting a rape.

Wilson is set to be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
