A church will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with more than 50 Christmas trees for a popular annual festival over the next two weekends.

All Saints’ Church, in Harrow Weald, has been packed with festive firs, each of which has been decorated by a different local school or community group for the Christmas tree festival.

As well as impressive decorations, the festival features stalls, entertainment, live music and a visit from Father Christmas himself.

Last year’s event at the Uxbridge Road church was the biggest yet and organisers are hoping to emulate or even better its success this year.

The festival takes place on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, and continues next Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15.

A traditional Christingle service will be held this Sunday at 10am, followed by a Christmas sing-a-long at 4pm.

Community Christmas carols will take place at the church at 7pm next Sunday.

Mulled wine and mince pies will be served throughout the festival, which is open between 10am and 4pm on Saturdays, and 1pm and 4pm on Sundays.
