Following the release of their first Christmas album, the 4 Girls 4 Harps will perform a concert of Christmas carols like you have never heard them before.

The harp quartet, made up of Harriet Adie, Keziah Thomas, Eleanor Turner and Elizabeth Scorah, formed in 2000 and this year released their new album which features arrangement of well loved and lesser-known carols and Christmas songs.

Coming to the Riverhouse Barn, Walton, the girls will perform their favourite seasonal songs and will be presented in a stylish manner to show off the grace of playing the harp.

The songs chosen for their latest album were arranged by the quartet’s members and were all selected because of the connection they felt to them.

Adie, founding member of the quartet, says: “The harp is one of the instruments most associated with Christmas.

“The style of the arrangements varies from classical music at its very best, through to jazz and folk-inspired carols, so we hope that there will be a special something for everyone to enjoy.”

The quartet has performed internationally both as the group and as soloists and their commitment to expanding and creating repertoire has seen them collaborate with a number of composers and performers.
