JEREMY Paxman, the television news host, will be in Marlow on Friday at a special event.
The Newsnight journalist will be the star guest at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow.
The event has been organised by Burnham based company Horizons Books.
The University Challenge presenter has just had a new book published called Great Britain's Great War.
Richard Storey, General Manager at the Marlow hotel said: "We are looking forward to receiving Jeremy Paxman as guest speaker at Horizon Bookshop’s Author Dinner.
"It’s created a real buzz at the hotel and there’s great interest locally - everyone is really excited about the event."
The evening starts at 7pm with a welcome drink and then will be followed by a two course meal. For tickets, costing £40, and more details call 01628 662121
