UPDATE: Driver removed pram thrown onto rail in Belvedere
A TRAIN driver was forced to remove a pram thrown onto the railway line in Belvedere today.
The incident occurred at 4.36pm causing delays on services travelling between Greenwich and Dartford.
A Southeastern spokesperson said: "Services were delayed due to an obstruction on the line earlier.
"The line has now reopened. We're sorry for the delays."
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: "No police attended the scene. The driver of the train removed the item.
"It was the top half of an old pram."
She added the driver did not see who threw the pram.
