School dinners have never been better at ACS Cobham
A caterer who provides meals for ACS Cobham International School has been named caterer of the year.
Judges at the EduCatering excellence awards handed the self-managed secondary school caterer of the year award to Hayden Hibbert, head of catering at the school, after his team demonstrated a significant achievement in catering provision.
The team, which provides meals at the three ACS campuses, was also commended for their improved nutritional menus and work as part of the Soil Association’s Food for Life scheme.
The schools were recently handed the association’s silver catering mark and now aim to cut their carbon footprint by sourcing more local produce and increase organic offering at meal times.
Mr Hibbert said: “It was a great pleasure to receive the EduCatering Excellence award as it shows all the hard work put in by the entire catering team over the last year, with the silver mark award and new dining facilities at ACS Cobham, has really paid off.
“This award just adds to the other exciting catering developments coming up throughout the three schools. I’d like to thank all my colleagues and team for all their help to achieve this award.”
