Views sought by Harrow Council on parking in Queensbury
People are being called to give their views as part of a parking review of roads near an underground station.
Harrow Borough Council has launched a consultation of parking in and around Queensbury station.
At a public meeting earlier this year a number of concerns were raised by people from the area including a lack of parking controls near Queensbury Circle which cause congestion and safety issues.
There were also calls for parking controls to be brought in for Mollison Way to help businesses in the shopping area.
Over the coming months there will be a number of public exhibitions giving people the chance to talk to officers about issues in their area.
These will take place at the Rochdale Scout Centre, corner Dale Avenue and Roch Avenue, in Edgware on Tuesday November 5, from 11.30am to 4.30pm, Saturday November 9, from 1pm to 5pm, and Monday, November 11, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
People have until November 18 to take part in the online questionnaire which can be done by clicking here.
Once the consultation ends, officers will take their findings to Traffic Advisory and Road Safety Panel which will make a recommendation to the relative cabinet member.
If a decision has been agreed there will then be a statutory consultation carried out which could take place early next year.
