Shoppers enjoy Harrow food festival
Hundreds of people flocked to a food festival to sample delicacies from around the world.
Harrow’s Festival of Food offered shoppers a range of treats including French crepes, vegan baked goods and Italian biscuits as well as Spanish, Japanese and Punjabi street food.
The four day market was held in between Katie’s Statue and Havelock place in Harrow town centre and was supported by the Mayor’s Outer London Fund.
Portfolio holder for business Cllr Kamaljit Chana said: “This was a chance for people to buy and sample fresh produce from various parts of the world.
“We are already working on making the town centre a clean and bustling environment where shoppers and residents can enjoy their visits, with the regeneration projects in St Ann’s Road and Lowland’s Recreation Ground making a real difference.”
