A business networking event is being hosted by Elmbridge Council to coincide with global entrepreneurship week.
The event, at Velocity Brooklands, will allow residents and businesses to network with organisations and entrepreneurs as well as finding out information to help companies further, including funding, apprenticeships and free data services.
Guest speakers will talk about their experience starting up a business, securing money through crowdfunding and exporting abroad.
Dominic Raab, MP for Esher and Walton, and leader of the council Councillor John O’Reilly will also attend the evening and join a panel of experts giving their views on what needs to be done to achieve business growth.
Councillor Christine Cross, portfolio holder for community development, said: “Businesses are a vital part of our community. This event is a fantastic opportunity for businesses all sizes, new and old to network and discover the fantastic services available to support them.”
