Members discuss Harrow Borough Council constitution
Councillors have called for a legal investigation into the use of the constitution during a previous meeting of the council.
At the meeting of Harrow Borough Council this evening, councillors debated the authority’s constitution and the suspension rules at the previous meeting on September 16.
This evening's meeting was called by five members after 18 clauses of the constitution were suspended at September’s meeting, at which councillor Susan Hall was voted in as leader.
Some members proposed the council’s constitutional working group be expanded to allow independent members take part.
