Views sought on parking around Belmont Circle
People are being asked to give their views about parking in a busy shopping area as part of a consultation launched this week.
Harrow Borough Council is calling on people to take part in an online questionnaire about the parking situation in the Belmont Circle area and give their suggestions for action.
There are currently no parking controls in the residential streets to the north and south of Belmont Circle, but there are restrictions to the east and west.
There are also two free car parks and free on-street parking on Belmont Circle roundabout and along the service road outside the Tesco supermarket.
Officers say two petitions have been submitted to the council from people living in the area calling for the introduction of parking controls.
The consultation will end on November 11 and those interested in taking part can do so by clicking here.
Once the consultation ends, officers will take their findings to Traffic Advisory and Road Safety Panel which will make a recommendation to the relative cabinet member.
If a decision has been agreed there will then be a statutory consultation carried out which could take place early next year.
