JOHNNY Depp caused astonishment after he emerged out of mist next to a Bucks tennis court.

And then Brad Pitt further stunned the same mum and daughter who had seen Depp when he met them whilst shopping just days later.

The Brennan family, from Turville, were in Hambleden when Pirates of The Caribbean actor Depp appeared.

Smoke had begun floating across the courts at Hambleden Tennis Club, where Ava Brennan, seven, had been taking part in a lesson. And when her mum, Courtney Brennan, investigated what was happening, she discovered the Hollywood actor, who was shooting his new film Into The Woods.

Mrs Brennan, 42, a company director, said: "It was during a lesson the court started to fill up with smoke.

"It was a bit weird. You had this mist and then walks out Jonny Depp.

"He came out of the mist and I was like 'oh my God it's Jonny Depp'. It was pretty amazing.

"It was on the field next to the courts, they were driving around on these quad bikes trying to spread the smoke and make it atmospheric for filming."

The encounter occurred on October 1 and four days later they met a second blockbuster actor.

Mrs Brennan said: "We ran into Brad Pitt at the toy store in Henley. I think he's also filming a stone's throw away as well.

"We spoke to Brad Pitt very briefly, he asked for directions."

She said she was somewhat tongue tied.

"It was pretty crazy, pretty wild," she said.

"You don't expect to go to a store in Henley and run into a mega star."

The Hambleden valley area has been used for many film and television productions.

Mrs Brennan said the most bizarre encounter had been coming across Burt Reynolds at a post box in Turville some years ago.

George Clooney and Matt Damon have also been filming in the area for World War Two heist movie Monuments Men, earlier this summer.
