Man wanted after touching himself inappropriately in front of Bexley woman on Crayford train
A YOUNG Bexley woman was left feeling “uncomfortable” after a man on a train travelling through Crayford touched himself inappropriately.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers now want to speak with this man in connection with the incident, which happened on the 7.53am service from Crayford to Cannon Street on September 26.
Investigating officer PC Alexandra O’Leary said: “A 22-year-old woman from Bexley was travelling on the 7.53am service to Cannon Street.
“She noticed the man sitting opposite her was touching himself inappropriately, and, feeling uncomfortable, the victim moved seats to distance herself from him.”
She added: “Unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind is not tolerated anywhere on the rail network and we take all reports of this nature seriously.
“If you recognise the man pictured, I’d urge you to come forward and speak to us.”
Anyone with information should contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
