Night skies to light up across Elmbridge
Colourful rockets will once again light up the skies as the nights get longer and winter begins to set in.
Braving the cold, wind and, if the typical British weather is anything to go by, rain, people of all ages will come together to see the night sky light up as they ‘ooh and ah’ at the arrangement of colours which explode overhead.
Returning once again are the infamous Cleves fireworks to music, which are held at the Weybridge school on bonfire night itself.
Held by the school’s parent teacher association, visitors can enjoy the delights of a funfair, live music and food and drink before the main event takes place.
The skies will come alive with different colours and types of fireworks, as they dance along with the music which accompanies them.
Apps Court Farm will also host its own display complete with a bonfire lit with flaming arrows.
The Walton display will have something for all ages, with a special display for children before the main fireworks shoot up and away.
As an added bonus, a bigger and better funfair will accompany the displays along with live music from the High Barnets, a licensed bar and food stalls.
On the other side of the borough, Imber Court will host a family bonfire and fireworks evening, complete with a popular children’s funfair with bumper cars, and a range of food and drinks concessions.
So grab your wellies, hat, scarf and gloves and enjoy an evening with friends and family in the great outdoors to celebrate bonfire night.
