Woolwich Lee Rigby killing - no further action for six arrested men
SIX men who were arrested after the Woolwich killing of Lee Rigby on suspicion of conspiracy to murder will face no further action, police have said.
They include 21-year-old Hayden Allen, who was arrested in Charlton Lane on May 25. His lawyers TV Edwards Solicitors said in a statement: "We have today been notified that the police will not be taking his case further, vindicating him from any involvement in what took place.
"Mr Allen would like to this to be known as widely as his arrest was publicised. He offers his full condolences to the family and friends of Mr Rigby."
The six men also include a 29-year-old arrested the day after Drummer Rigby's death and a 50-year-old picked up in Upper Wickham Lane, Welling.
Two men arrested in south east London and a 22-year-old arrested in north London also face no further action from police.
Lee Rigby, a soldier, was killed near Woolwich Barracks on May 22.
