Grand Theft Auto robbery in Colindale: Teenagers appear in court
Teenagers accused of stabbing and robbing a man of a Grand Theft Auto computer game have appeared in court.
Two boys aged 17 and 15 appeared on Tuesday, September 24 at Harrow Crown Court facing charges of robbery and grievous bodily harm.
A 23-year-old man was on his way home from ASDA in Capitol Way after buying the newly released GTA V when he was hit with a brick and stabbed before being robbed of the game along with his watch and mobile phone at the junction of Princes Avenue and Stag Lane.
The 17-year-old from Colindale was remanded in custody and will appear at Harrow Crown Court on October 7. The 15-year-old, who is also from Colindale, has been bailed.
A 14-year-old from Colindale appeared at Hendon Magistrates on Saturday but the case was not proceeded with.
Three other teenagers previously arrested have been bailed to return on a date in October pending further enquiries.
