Three teenagers have been arrested after a man was stabbed and robbed of the newly released Grand Theft Auto V computer game in Colindale.
Two boys who are 15 and 16 years old, and an 18-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of the robbery on Tuesday and are currently in custody at a north London police station.
A 23-year-old man was on his way home from ASDA in Capitol Way after purchasing GTA V which went on sale at midnight.
But when he reached the junction of Princes Avenue and Stag Lane he was hit with a brick and stabbed before being robbed of the game along with his watch and mobile phone.
Police were called at 1.22am and cordoned off the area as paramedics rushed the man to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
A spokesman for the Metropolitian Police said: “The motive for the attack is unclear at this stage.”
