THE candidates for district and parish council by-elections in Crockenhill and West Kingsdown have been announced.
Four people have put their names forward for the Crockenhill & Well Hill ward Sevenoaks District council by-election.
Allrik Birch will stand for the Conservative Party, Philip Hobson for the Liberal Democrats, Rachel Waterton for the Labour Party and Steve Lindsay for the UK Independence Party.
In the Hever ward of West Kingsdown Parish Council, two people have put themselves up for election.
Bob Wicker will stand as an independent candidate and Stephen Gray for the Conservative Party.
Both by-elections are to be held on September 26.
