Summer festivals keep on coming in Enfield
Despite the summer coming to a close, the festival scene shows no sign of stopping in Enfield with plenty of entertainment still to come.
The Lock to Lock Festival taking place on the River Lee in Enfield will run between Ponders End and Enfield Locks on Saturday, September 14.
Showcasing everything the river has to offer, the festival will feature a host of artists, a dance member from Britain’s Got Talent finalists Flawless, river boat trips plus plenty more for everyone to enjoy.
Starting from 11am until 7pm, events will take place between the Navigation Inn in Wharf Road, Ponders End and the Prince of Wales Playing Field in Ordnance Road, Enfield.
Enfield Council’s cabinet member for business and regeneration, Councillor Del Goddard, said: “The River Lee is the hidden gem of the area and these events will help open up the lee to more people. This fantastic family festival offers something for everyone so I’d urge people to come and enjoy a day by the river taking in the atmosphere and participating in the excellent music and activities on offer.”
