Members of a Rotary club raised £2,000 for a charity which helps and supports disabled people across the borough.
The Rotary Club of Northwick Park donated the money, raised over the past year, to the Harrow Association of Disabled People (HAD).
The organisation was chosen as the club's charity for the year by its previous president Sandy Myrants.
She said: “During my year as president we had the Paralympic games and I felt we should do something to support disabled people in Harrow. It was a cause close to my heart.
“I have been aware of the work of HAD for some time and they do a tremendous job with minimal resources.
“I hope the money we have donated will help them continue their great work.”
Money was raised with a number of different fundraising events including collections at supermarkets and quiz nights.
