Police are investigating a robbery at a Co-op store in Kenley yesterday in which victims were tied up.
The incident happened at the store in Godstone Road, at about 6am when three members of staff began to open the shop and three suspects entered.
It is the second time this month a Co-op store has been robbed in similar circumstances on the Surrey-London border.
The suspects assaulted one of the member of staff before forcing all three into an office where they were tied up.
It is believed the men stole a cash box and one of the victim's phones before making off.
The group are described as black men, wearing dark clothing and dark coloured masks or balaclavas.
Croydon police said they were keeping an "open mind" as to whether this incident is linked to a similar raid on a Co-op in Stoneleigh, Surrey, in which staff members were tied up and had their phones stolen so they could not call 999.
Suspect one is described as approximately 5ft 4ins, suspect two is described as being about 5ft 8ins and suspect three is approximately 5ft 11ins.
Officers from Croydon police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
