A former masseuse to the stars will join the team at Richmond College as a sports massage teacher.
Karen Smith, who massaged Usher and former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, will bring her skills as a successful personal fitness trainer to the new level 3 sports massage (soft tissue therapy) course with her colleague Una Smith in September.
Before applying her skills and experience as a lecturer, Karen spent more than a decade as both a personal fitness trainer and sports masseuse.
During her career, she has been the personal sports therapist to Riverdance legend Michael Flatley, worked on the hit ITV show Gladiators as well as with the stars of the Party in the Park music concerts including Destiny’s Child and Emma Bunton.
