Two teenagers remain critical after double stabbing in West Green Road in Wood Green
Two teenagers remain in a critical condition after a double stabbing in the early hours of this morning.
Police and ambulance services were called to West Green Road in Tottenham at 4.33am.
Two boys, both aged 17 years, were found with stab wounds.
Both were taken to a London hospital where they are in a critical condition.
Officers from Haringey CID are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Police believe a male suspect ran from the scene along West Green Road.
He is described as black and wearing a hooded top.
The police cordon on the street has been lifted. There has been no arrest and enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that may assist police should call Haringey CID on 020 8345 0831 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The incident comes just two years after one boy was killed and three more badly injured in a stabbing in the same street.
A resident, who preferred not to give her name, said she was scared by what had happened.
She added: "It used to be really bad here with gang fighting.
"Things had got better since the riots, until this happened.
"I'm worried about my brother, he's 17 and I hope he doesn't get involved in stuff like this."
