Morden student's micro close up skin project spans three generations
A student from Morden has photographed a series of micro close ups of skin spanning a generation as part of her final year photography degree.
Laura Bissett, from Morden, is a student at Middlesex University and took photographs of her family spanning three generations for the unusual year photography project.
The black and white photos, taken of herself, her mum, dad and nan, were taken so closely that the images appear abstract with viewers often unable to distinguish what they are.
The 21-year-old said: "I’m excited by the positive reception of my collection, and most importantly I’m pleased the idea of the project has interested people and succeeded in getting people to look further.
"The images successfully cause intrigue and fascination, with viewers spending time looking at them and wanting to know what they are."
