Potters Bar woman raises cash for dogs charity
A Potters Bar woman helped raise hundreds of pounds for a hearing dogs charity.
Louise McKinnon, who works for Affinity Sutton, took part in Time to Give Friday at her workplace, where staff pick a charity to raise cash for.
Ms McKinnon chose Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and her fundraising event included special guest Ronnie and his hearing dog Mike.
The event, which raised £678, included a tombola and a “guess how many gravy bones in the water bottle” competition.
Louise said: “Thanks to everyone in the company who gave so generously and together we have raised a fantastic amount of money.
“The money collected will be used to help train an adorable puppy called Indie to become a hearing dog just like Ronnie and change the life of a deaf person.”
