Four care homes in the borough passed inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) last month.

Laurel Dene, in Hampton Road, Hampton Hill, provides care and support for up to 99 people with dementia and is owned and managed by Care UK.

The nursing home passed all five aspects of the inspection and was praised for having a calm and relaxed atmosphere and kind and welcoming staff.

Hampton Care Limited, in Upper Sunbury Road, Hampton, cares for up to 76 people and also passed all five aspects of its inspection, which was unannounced to managers and staff.

Earlier in the year the inspector found that care records and were not always accurate or clear, were not always dated and there were some inconsistencies but the latest inspection showed improvements had been made.

The care home 31 King Edwards Grove in Teddington cares for eight adults with a learning disability and Mayfair Avenue in Whitton provides accommodation and care for four people with a learning disability.

Both homes also passed all five aspects of the inspection.
