A series of film screenings and tours will be offered to Waltham Forest residents at discounted prices this autumn.

The ‘Hitchcock’s East End’ programme will celebrate the work of famous Leytonstone resident and film director, Alfred Hitchcock.

Hitchcock was born just around the corner from where a screening of Vertigo at St Margaret’s Church in Leytonstone will kick off the programme on September 28.

Hitchcock’s films will be shown at lots of different unusual venues across the borough with the final one being screened at new cinema, The Scene, at Cleveland Place, Walthamstow.

Waltham Forest borough residents are eligible for discounted tickets costing £5.50 which includes a film screening and a guided walk around Hitchcock’s birthplace and the local streets where he grew up.
