A 43-YEAR-OLD man who fell off a bridge over the A2 near Dartford remains critically ill in hospital this morning.
Emergency services were called to the London-bound carriageaway just before 9am yesterday to reports of a man falling onto road close to the central reservation.
The man, who lives in Dartford, was taken by land ambulance King’s College Hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Both the northbound and southbound carriageways between Dartford Heath and the Black Prince Interchange were closed for several hours.
