When a man’s remote control helicopter had a rough landing in a tree, he ended up being rescued by a real helicopter.
The 63-year-old was flying the toy helicopter in Hillyfields open space in Cooks Hole Road, Enfield, when it got stuck in a tree yesterday afternoon.
As he attempted to retrieve it from the branches he slipped, falling to the ground.
Paramedics and an air ambulance were called to rescue the man at 3.24pm.
He was taken as a priority to Royal London Hospital suffering with pelvic pain.
