Capital idea: Pupils come to London
Nineteen students from across America are visiting the sights of London while boarding at ACS Cobham International School for the British summer studies programme.
The students will explore the lasting impact of British culture and visit sites in and around London including the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
Students were selected for the programme after submitting a 1,000 word essay on an aspect of British culture they admired or a British icon they would most like to meet.
