BICKLEY residents have spoken out about this morning’s domestic incident which led to two teenagers being arrested on suspicion of possessing firearms with intent to cause fear of violence.

Police officers closed Tylney Road in both directions between Widmore Road and Homesdale Road at around 6am this morning and a firearms recovery dog was also at the scene.

A police spokesman confirmed two teenagers, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, have been arrested.

No one was injured and the road was re-opened at around 8.35am.

A 25-year-old woman, who did not want to be named, said: "I think it's really dangerous, it's non-stop.

"The police came to the property last year and they had shields and everything.

"I have seen quite a few people coming out of there but I think there are three boys living there and their mother and their dog.

"The other day the dog was limping so it has obviously been beaten or something.

"It's very dangerous, you want to live peacefully but you cannot.

"I know the mum to say hello to and she does not deserve this.”

A 49-year-old woman who did not want to be named said:  "It's just scary, you just don't know what's going on anymore.

"If you have a gun you're prepared to use that gun and I just cannot believe it was happening in our road.

"I have lived in Tylney Road for 14 years and we have had no trouble.

"They did not seem like that and they always seem friendly enough."
