A supermarket is calling for people to put forward nominations for its local charity partner.
Sainsbury’s Stanmore is looking for a charity partner for the year ahead and is calling on customers to vote for their favourite local cause by May 15.
Last year the store teamed up with St Luke’s Hospice, raising a total of £4,407.
Fundraising co-ordinator for the hospice Sally Alstead said: “Working with Sainsbury’s Stanmore has been such a valuable experience for St Luke’s Hospice.
“The staff and customers have all been great and have really supported us. The staffs have come up with some very innovative fundraising ideas and all the customers have been so generous.”
