CRYSTAL Palace Football Club Foundation and Bromley’s Town Team have launched a new partnership.

The launch event took place at the Crystal Palace v Barnsley match on Saturday April 6.

The Town Team, headed by local McDonald’s Franchisee Tonina Hoang, consists of a group of local business people, councillors and residents and aims to promote economic regeneration in Bromley.

Councillor Peter Morgan, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Renewal said: "The Town Team was established to bring the people of Bromley together and promote the town.

"This relationship we have now officially announced is crucial to achieving this goal and we are grateful for all the support Crystal Palace FC have provided.

"This is a great start to the relationship."

At the match, fans were given 'This is Bromley' cotton bags filled with discount vouchers, and Bromley branded calculators and leaflets to help promote the town centre.

A priority for the new partnership is to support local young people and Crystal Palace will bring a road show to Bromley town centre in the summer to encourage young people into sport.
