A man is staging his own marathon in Sutton in aid of a seven-year-old cancer patient.
Steve Nash, 39, from Gravesend, Kent will run through Bromley and Swanley on Saturday, April 20, in aid of Stacey Mowle, who is suffering from neuroblastma cancer.
The route starts at The Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton, where Stacey is receiving treatment.
Jason Scott, 40, and Warren Mowle, Stacey’s father, will join Mr Nash.
He said: "It's going to be a tough course for Jason and myself as its much harder when not competing in a race as there is no atmosphere but the cause spurs you on and we are determined to finish and raise as much money as possible for Stacey."
