Horley Local History Society will play host to Weis Rogalski of the Rural Life Museum, who will talk about the lives of Polish refugees during the Second World War, and the role they played in rural affairs in the Thursley area, at its next meeting at the Strawson Hall, 156 Albert Road, Horley, next Thursday (April 25) at 8pm. Visitors £1.
The society will hold a members' only outing on May 23, after which Roger Price will talk about the history of the Bluebell Railway preserved steam locomotive line at Sheffield Park in East Sussex, on Thursday, June 27.
